I made this beautiful sympathy card on a live Periscope broadcast last night. You just never know what’s going to happen when you’re live, and last night’s session was one of the times hahaha. I start a new drinking game, discuss “naughty word” a…. This is a beautiful, classic “wow” card. Created with some simple masking techniques that are great even for beginners. I created this version as a...

Sharing creative ideas and inspiration - Card Making, Scrapbooking and 3D Items. One day I looked out the window and there she was with her four, yes four, cubs handing them each a bag of trash from the can out front. And then of course there was the night my husband came home and walked into the garage while she was on her way out. I sure wish I could have seen his face. He said she actually...

I have to tell you about my new favorite product! It is the Wink of Stella brush in the Occasions mini. It is the coolest marker I have ever seen. It comes in clear and gold and can instantly add shimmer to your project and dries almost instantly. It is an alternative to glitter and without the mess too! Check out this quick video from Stampin Up to see what you can do with it. If you are...

I am loving the Botanical Blooms Builder Thinlits and coordinating stamp set. This is my first creation with this stamp set, inspired by a team swap card created by Lorri Spencer. The colors used in this sample include Island Indigo, Soft Sky and Whisper White. Intended to be a thank you card, I used a sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners, For You, so it could be for any occasion. Can you see the...

Monday was a Monday. Russ had just picked up Brandon and 3 other teens to come to our home so the kids could work on a cooking project for Spanish class. Out of the blue a driver came from the center lane into the right lane in front of Russ to make a quick turn into a pawn shop and russ ran into them. Luckily no one was injured. After waiting for an hour for the police to arrive (non...

It is a Monday and the sun is making an appearance. So that means it is time for Tool of the Week. StampinUp! has so many different framelits/thinlits that I though we would focus on it. You know with all the great framelits that makes choices harder. So we may do two weeks of them. I can’t hardly wait to see what is retiring out and what new is coming. Of course, being a demonstrator we know...

I used Very Vanilla cardstock, cut to 8 x 4 inches, which I scored in half and folded and burnished. I then randomly stamped the front using Papillon Potpourri Clear-Mount Stamp Set with Mint Macaron ink, stamped off first to get a lighter image. I added some pretty petals DSP, followed by Mint Macaron card. I added a 2×2 inch square of petite petals DSP in the same design as the Tealight...

Hi Everyone, Today’s card I have used the cute little frog from the “You’re Sublime” stamp set along with a balloon made with the balloon punch. I am adding it to the Just Add Ink challenge this week which is all about nature. I used frog tape to mask off the area above and below where I sponged with ink and add a few white highlights (a rough style of bokeh). Then usually watercolour paper I...

The sentiment, from Suite Sayings, was then stamped onto another panel of Timeless Elegance DSP in Basic Black archival ink and cut out with the banner die from the Rose Garden Thinlets Dies. I traced around the outside of the die onto a piece of Sahara Sand and cut it out with my paper snips for a frame for the sentiment banner. Those 2 pieces are adhered together with glue, then popped onto...
